E-books also allow teachers to create better and more current training program from diverse sources of knowledge available on the Internet. Especially in blended learning courses where videos, films, documentaries can be added to lectures.
By moving to tablet and e-Book, students always have updated materials and schools do not have to replace old textbooks. Students can use e-book to read, write, create, assemble, send and receive documents and instruction instantly. With e-book, students can check references quickly via the Internet and they do not have to get a dictionary as it is built-in. Students can perform keyword searches, have access to email and link related resources on the web to a given topic. Instead carry books with them to school, all they need is a small tablets.
As the price of tablet has drop below $100 dollars and more students can get a tablet instead of a PC, more e-books will be needed to improve the education and broaden their knowledge. The question is how many teachers are willing to switch to e-books? How many schools are willing to adopt e-books? How many textbook authors are willing to change into e-books?
