Another rankings
In a recent poll conducted by The Wall Street Journal, Carnegie Mellon was ranked the No. 1 school in the U.S. by companies looking for new hires in the field of computer science. They also ranked CMU fourth in finance, seventh in business. Overall, CMU was 10th in “The Top 25 Recruiter Picks.” The Wall Street Journal is one of the most respected newspapers in the U.S and has significant influence in the business world and industry management.
At the beginning of each new school year, more than 250 companies come to CMU to recruit students and most 4th year students received job offers eight to six months before they graduate. About 98% of graduated students have jobs when they finishing school.
